Job Description
Vendor Management (for fleet rent 1PL) all in dedicated fleet rent 2PL) and Oncall)
Sourcing & meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products inquire about their services negotiate pricing and communicate
any product or servicerelated concerns
Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
Implementing vendor selection to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
Ensure the fulfillment fleet request from Operations.
Vendor onboarding
Fleet Management (own & rent)
Monitor the fleet readiness for use in daily basis for operation
Maintenance and Repairs (Scheduling regular maintenance Managing unexpected repairs)
Compliance and Documentation (ensuring vehicles meet legal and safety standards keeping accurate records of inspections licenses and insurance)
Accident/incident reporting & activity
Cost & Invoice Management
Record & validate operational cost related to the respective fleet scheme
Processing invoice to finance for payment
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Operations Management Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in fleet management and/or vendor management.
- Prior experience in logistics transportation ecommerce or distribution industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management operations (cars motorcycles trucks).
- Ability to manage vendor negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Proficient in fleet management systems/software (e.g. Fleetio Samsara or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and vehicle compliance requirements (vehicle registration inspections insurance etc..
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating vendor performance and fleet efficiency.
- Highly organized and capable of working in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in advanced Excel/Google Sheets for fleet and vendor data analysis.
