Job Description
Location:
Montevideo; Uruguay
Responsibilities
- Support in the preparation and follow up of VAT form and VAT recovery requests
- Calculation and remittance of municipal taxes
- Tax Accounting and Reporting: working papers VAT reconciliations Tax credits income tax etc.
- Support in the preparation of income tax form and magnetic media.
- Assistance of tax authority requirements
- Assistance on the elaboration of supporting documentation for compliance purposes.
- Active communication with other departments
- Support in stakeholders tax related queries

It is indispensable for this position:
- 34 years of experience in multinational environment or Big 4 related to Taxes functions.
- Sound in economics finance or accounting background.
- English: intermediate level
- MS Office: intermediate level
- Experience with ERP systems desired (SAP experience is preferred).
- Proactive Service Orientation and Analytical Capability
- Track record of compliance culture maintenance and enforcement.
- Ability to effectively work in a crossfunctional matrix organization.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent team player with the motivation to drive and improve our Tax team processes
