Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative will be supporting the North Region including but not limited to NJ IL OH and WV.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect new direct and indirect customers through cold calling efforts within Distribution Dealer and Lumberyard Channels
  • Establish rapport with prospects and customers via telephone interactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service addressing a wide range of customer homeowner Sales team contractors and dealer inquiries resolving challenging requests
  • Provide technical product information to address customer queries and suggest alternative materials or products as needed. Direct complex technical inquiries to appropriate divisional personnel
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing accounts
  • Communicate the value proposition effectively and recognize opportunities for upselling
  • Create and conduct online demonstrations utilize customer configurators and demonstrate other sales tools
  • Customize sales presentations to introduce new products to existing customers and identify potential new business prospects
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers and contractors
  • Understand CBBs and competitors strategies and products gathering current marketplace information on competitor pricing product new products service levels merchandising techniques etc
  • Prepare and develop product proposals and proposal activities
  • Propose pricing and pricing adjustments within established guidelines
  • Conduct and/or participate in sales promotion and customer educational meetings
  • Direct qualified sales leads to the designated Territory Sales Manager
  • Validate and distribute relevant crossreference suggestions to maintain customer and project alignment with CBB brands
  • Utilize CRM to maintain precise records of prospects customers and new projects
  • Provide weekly sales reports or as needed
  • Analyze current and potential market segment volumes
  • Participate in trade shows as necessary alongside Territory Sales Managers

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in sales preferably in the building industry both the dealer distribution and/or two step channels of the business. Demonstrated understanding of sales techniques & customer relationship management
  • Problem solving and sales negotiation skills required
  • Strong communication skills to include active listening and persuasive speaking.
  • Solid time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience exercising the proper techniques in preparing an opening presenting overcoming objections and concluding a presentation
  • Adept at prioritizing multiple responsibilities
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential. Ability to work cross functionally with Sales Ops Supply Chain etc
  • Experience with CRM Management software
  • Strong personal motivation

The US base salary for this role is $60000 Sales Incentive   medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Fulltime is defined as regularly working 30 hours per week.
