Gameloft Indonesia hiring a Technical Artist Supervisor too lead and mentor our technical art team. This role will be the main point to bridging between creative vision and technical implementation ensuring highquality visuals while optimizing performance.
Job Description :
- Creating art pipeline and guide the artists to ensure the pipeline is followed thoroughly
- Supervising 3D Artists to ensure the outputs follow the expected quality standard and technical requirements.
- Providing technical solutions for artists regarding technical pipelines
- Providing technical training for artists
- Asset integration and optimization in game engine
- Optimize 3D models textures shaders and animations for performance without compromising visual fidelity.
- Create and maintain scripts tools or plugins to automate repetitive tasks or improve the art production process.
- Work with artists to create custom shaders that enhance visual effects (such as lighting water or surface properties) while ensuring theyre optimized.
- Help artists with character rigging skinning and ensuring that animations are correctly implemented in the game engine.
- Address performance issues in character rigs or animations to ensure smooth gameplay performance.
- Debug and solve artrelated technical issues such as performance drops or visual glitches in the game engine.
- Help the team troubleshoot and optimize asset integration problems.
- Ensure that art assets are properly integrated into the game engine with attention to texture mapping lighting and shader effects.
- Run tests to verify the visual fidelity and performance of art assets ingame.
- Supporting supervising and mentoring game artists on technical issues
- Identifying and resolving technical issues between the art and programming departments
- Creating and maintaining techical art pipeline and guide documentation
- Liasing the communication between Artists and Developers
- Collaborate with developers to create custom tools or modify existing ones to assist in the creation of art assets.
- Create asset validation tools that help to detect issues early in the pipeline.
- Ensuring the games will work smoothly to achieve KPI
- Ensure that art assets meet the quality standards for visual fidelity aesthetic consistency and technical compatibility across platforms.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry tools techniques and trends.

Requirements

- Expertise in Game Engine Tools: Unity Unreal and VR game engine
- Expertise in 3D Tools: 3Ds Max ZBrush Maya Blender Cinema 4D
- Excellent professional English skill
- Excellent ability to communicate technical terms and information to all project stakeholders
- Proficiency in 3D Modelling Texturing Shading Lighting Rendering Skinning Rigging VFX and Animation.
