As part of the selfserve marketing business at Grab our primary focus is enhancing the marketing experience for our MEX users. Get to Know the Role
You will work with the engineering team in designing developing and maintaining backend services. You will be provided with handson experience in backend system architecture and development and to create scalable and efficient solutions. You will report to the Software Engineer Manager.
This role is based onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will collaborate with teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- You will design develop and maintain backend services and APIs that support our applications.
- You will participate in the architecture and design of backend systems ensuring they are scalable secure and efficient.
- You will write clean maintainable and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
- You will help troubleshoot and debugging issues in existing backend services.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Only for candidates who are available to start in July 2025.
- Your studies as a Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Golang C C C# Java Python and willing to work on Golang.
- You have an ability to structure data and write algorithms.
- Knowledge in database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
