Charged with clinical managerial and administrative responsibilities to ensure that staff meets the standards and requirements of the Agency and appropriate funding and regulatory bodies.
Masters Degree in Social Work or Masters in Mental Health Counseling and New York State licensure. Current registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Five years of post graduate clinical work in relevant settings including some supervisory experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Delivers services of as follows:
2. Participates in all required internal and external meetings that appropriately represent the needs of the clients staff and the Agency.
3. Utilizes and understands the value of supervision which increases practice skills promotes better service for the clients and preserves accountability to the Agency.
4. Provides supervision of clinical staff and students as follows: guidance and training in techniques of diagnosis assessment and treatment intervention; oversight of compliance with standards of the Agency in providing patient care and meeting accountability requirements; oversight of the productivity and the degree to which they meet all the relevant specifications of their job description including but not limited to the care of highrisk
5. Assists in overseeing the training needs of the staff through input into planning staff meetings management meetings extramural training experiences and written communication to staff.
6. Represents the Agency by serving on designated internal or external committees or at meetings reporting back on outcomes.
7. When needed plans and implements public relations projects designed to promote the availability of the Agency to clients needing service.
8. Participates in planning for the needs of the community and the Agency with the rest of the administrative and clinical management team.
9. Support the use of data in clinical supervision to inform decision
10. Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals
11. Work with the entire CN Guidance team to apply the PlanDoStudyACT continuous quality improvement approach to address systemic organizational challenges
