Job Description

SORSEN Security is seeking professional Unarmed Security Guards to provide service to our clients in diverse role requires monitoring premises responding to service requests access control public relations and enforcing company protocols.


Qualifications :

$18 to 20 per hour to start. Shift leader roles are available at a higher rate. SORSEN pays all State licensing fees. Paid training provided without cost. Uniforms provided without cost. Continuing education provided without cost. Indoor and outdoor assignment in a motel like environment. You will have shelter from the weather and access to a break room and toilet. 

A valid Utah unarmed guard license as issues by DOPL combined with previous experience in security military service or client focused customer service is a must. Armed license is preferred but not required.

You must be at least 21 years of age with your own reliable transportation.

2 years previous experience in security military service or law enforcement or 3 years in customer service dealing with the public. 

Excellent communication and situational awareness skills. English fluency required. A second language is desirable.

Basic computer proficiency is a requirement. Youll be taught how to use our apps.

High school diploma required. College degree desirable but not required.

3. Resilience and Emotional Strength: Being resilient and capable of handling difficult situations without letting them affect the quality of care is essential.

4. Communication Skills: The ability to convey information in a clear respectful and straightforward manner can build trust and rapport.

5. ProblemSolving Skills: Being able to think creatively and find practical solutions to challenges such as connecting individuals to services is a core part of the role.

6. Strong Ethical Standards: Respecting the privacy and dignity of individuals is a fundamental aspect of building trust. While showing compassion its important for workers to maintain appropriate boundaries to ensure professional conduct.

8. Teamwork and Collaboration: Often support for homeless individuals involves collaboration with various agencies including healthcare providers social services and law enforcement.

10. Crisis Management Skills: The ability to handle situations calmly especially when individuals are in distress or facing a crisis can prevent conflicts from escalating.
