About the Role
The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis efforts at Milrose with a focus on budgettoactual variances headcount management and strategic projects. Reporting to the VP of FP&A & BI this role is a key partner to business units across the organization and helps ensure effective resource allocation and decisionmaking support.
What Youll Do
- Develop and maintain models to support budgeting forecasting and longterm planning
- Perform monthly close activities and variance analysis
- Present actionable financial insights to department and executive leadership
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on financial deliverables
- Build tools and dashboards to improve financial visibility and performance tracking
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
What Youll Bring
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A or related financial experience
- Exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills must be detail oriented
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
- Experience with SQL Power BI PowerPivot
- Familiarity with Salesforce/FinancialForce or other ERP systems
- A proactive cando attitude and a collaborative mindset
Work Environment & Schedule
- Standard office hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- REMOTE. Candidates located in the NY/NJ/CT area may be asked to work in a hybrid capacity.
- Occasional travel to client sites or municipal agencies may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120K $150K/yr based on knowledge skills and experience
