FullTime Faculty Humanities (Business Ethics)
Overview:
The School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a fulltime Humanities faculty position with a specialization in Business Ethics or Applied Ethics. We seek a studentcentered educator who will contribute to our interdisciplinary focus on critical thinking ethical reasoning and the humanities in a global context.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Business Ethics and related humanities subjects.
- Develop and update syllabi lesson plans and assessments aligned with course outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that promotes ethical inquiry and critical thinking.
- Provide timely feedback academic advising and maintain regular office hours.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and academic initiatives.
- Maintain accurate academic records and comply with university policies.
- Stay current in the fields of ethics humanities and instructional best practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Humanities Business Ethics Philosophy or a closely related field.
- Strong academic background or professional experience in Business Ethics or Applied Ethics.
- Minimum of two years of universitylevel teaching experience.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Prior business or industry experience is an advantage.
- Experience integrating ethical perspectives into multidisciplinary curricula is preferred
