Software System Requirements Engineer Level 3 AESE3

AEITS Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction MD area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering including requirements analysis system design integration and technical leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to guide users in formulating requirements while ensuring seamless system development and implementation.

Mission: As a Software System Engineer 3 on this government program you will analyze user requirements concept of operations and system architectures to create system specifications.

Location: Annapolis Junction Maryland

All work is onsite. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum ten 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.
• Strong knowledge of system requirements analysis design and development.
• Experience in software development methodologies and system lifecycle processes.
• Ability to analyze user requirements concept of operations and system architectures to create system specifications.
• Experience providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements design and technology.
• Ability to guide system development and implementation planning including system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation to support system development and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to evaluate alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies.
• Experience interacting with Government stakeholders regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations issues and conflicts.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with program personnel Government overseers and senior executives.
• Ability to oversee and ensure the technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables produced.

Desired Requirements

• Familiarity with systems integration processes and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and present complex technical information effectively.

Education and Required Qualification

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Four 4 years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Travel

• Less than 10 of travel may occur.
