Job Description
Baltimore Country Club is actively hiring for energetic Bartenders to join our Food and Beverage team. Bartenders are responsible for taking care of Members and Guests while creating an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere where everybody knows your name.
ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start with 600 members enjoying its 150acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3200 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right not what is easy.
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A BARTENDER
As a Bartender you play a key role to ensure proper beverage service to all Members and Guests at all dining outlets throughout both clubhouses. This position focuses on fulfilling consistent highquality drinks while also maintaining a safe and sanitary workstation. With our familylike atmosphere Bartenders are able to create conversations and build genuine relationships every day.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER FACTORS:
- At least two years of bartending experience in a fullservice restaurant hotel or private club.
- Private club experience is a plus but not required
- Professional appearance and attitude with a willingness to learn
- Available to work days nights weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of beer wine and spirits is required
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
