Position Summary
The Emergency Services Technician offers an excellent opportunity in supporting patient care and covering administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration across a team of practitioners you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner
- You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families nursing staff and other members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy dignity and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NAR MAP MAC or successful completion of EMT Training Course
- MAP or EMT will be required to obtain NAR within ninety 90 days of hire
- CNA NAR or EMT will be required to obtain MAP within a specified date as determined by location; Yakima location does not require the MAP
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience as a CNA NAR corpsman or EMT in an emergency department prehospital or acute care setting within the last three 3 years preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.88 $37.80 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
