Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Hog Slat Inc. Plastics manufacturing team in Clinton NC is seeking professional to join our plastics manufacturing team for injection and blow molded product lines. Were looking for an Engineering Technician who is not only motivated to learn new skills and takes pride in the quality of their work but will also enjoy and thrive in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Assist plant supervisor and process engineer fulfil various technical needs required for production including but not limited to startup diagnostics and programming of injection molding and blow molding equipment.
Programming of machine robotics for efficient moving stacking and conveying of parts.
Troubleshoot automation equipment to limit interruptions to production.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed
Make modifications to equipment programs to produce quality parts.
Adhere to all safety procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or twoyear technical diploma in related curriculum; or
An equivalent combination of training and experience in tooling and automation equipment.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Stable work history required
Satisfactory reference check drug screening and criminal background check required
Handson mechanical aptitude and willing to learn new skills
