Join our dynamic team as a PartTime Outpatient SUD Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health located in Orem Utah! This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with Substance Use Disorder clients in a supportive and clientcentric environment. With a pay range of $28.08 $43.38 per hour (DOE your expertise will be rewarded as you contribute to transformative mental health care. Compensation:
Associate Licensure Annual Base salary starting at $57262 DOE
Full Licensure Annual Base Salary starting at $69846 $88462 DOE
If you have graduated from a masters level therapist program (CSW AMFT ACMHC) and are working toward or have associate licensure we have positions available.
If you have already received your Full license in the state of Utah (LMFT LCSW CMHC) we also have positions available.

Your day to day as a Outpatient Therapist
As a new Outpatient Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health you can expect a rewarding and structured daily routine. You will engage with clients through individual and group therapy sessions providing evidencebased treatment tailored to their unique needs. In addition to direct client interactions you will conduct assessments developing treatment plans tailored to each clients needs and document progress effectively. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be key allowing you to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.
Youll also participate in team meetings focusing on continuous improvement and innovative approaches to care. As you settle into your role expect to receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues fostering your professional development while ensuring the highest standards of safety and integrity are maintained.

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software is essential for documenting client progress and treatment plans efficiently. An empathetic nature and a strong commitment to customercentric care will enhance your ability to support clients in their journey toward mental wellbeing.
Adaptability attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning will further empower you in this challenging yet fulfilling role. Key skills include exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities allowing you to build rapport with diverse clients.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Graduation from a college or university with a Masters degree in social work psychology or a related field
- Plus recognition as a Certified Social Worker (CSW)
- Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
- Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or equivalent.
- May be required to obtain certifications in Domestic Violence and NOJOS.
- Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of substance use disorder treatment.
- Experience with substance use a plus
- Spanish speaking prefereed but not required

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
