Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Licensure: Valid ARRT certification and Indiana state radiologic licensure; EKG certification (e.g. CCI or NHA) preferred.
- Experience: 2 years in radiography and EKG procedures; hospital experience ideal.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating Xray/EKG equipment image processing and equipment maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Strong patient communication attention to detail adaptability and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for Xrays/EKGs addressing special needs and ensuring safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiologic/EKG equipment; troubleshoot or coordinate repairs.
- Evaluate image quality retake studies as needed and deliver results to physicians.
- Manage Xray film library patient records and departmental supply inventory.
- Conduct EKGs interpret tracings and communicate findings to medical staff.
- Track diagnostic statistics and provide performance improvement data to leadership.
- Mentor staff or supervise workflows as required.
