OBGYN Hospitalist Per Diem

** Per Diem ** Coverage Needed for Ob/Gyn Hospitalists in Athens Ohio 2 hours East of Columbus/2 hours South of Clevelend OH)

A successful OB hospitalist program should be a collaboration among your hospitals staff and affiliated obstetricians family practice physicians and subspecialists. Our experienced boardeligible or boardcertified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage admissions inpatient care and delivery for hospitalized patients. This costeffective cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

  • 24hour in house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
  • Management of OB/GYN emergencydepartment patients.
• Athens Ohio is located in the Eastern part of the state flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburghis just over the state line) and Northern West Virgina.
• Less than 2 hours East of Columbus Ohio and 2 hours South of Cleveland Ohio

• Must be Board Certified
• Must have a minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience
• Prefer active Ohio license or ability to obtain via IMLC compact
  • Pediatrix does provide assistance in obtaining state Medical License and DEA if needed

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W2 per diem position.
