The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flight Readiness Team Lead (Level C) to join our Flight Line team in North Charleston South Carolina on 2nd shift.
In this role a candidate will plan schedule and arrange activities for the BSC Flight line. You will also perform and provide necessary coaching to support activity of the following: flight test installations and functional testing; troubleshoot pneumatic hydraulic electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical or electrical/electronic faults and repair faulty components. Conduct preflight and postflight checks and perform maintenance and modification actions. Resolve problems during operation and testing of deliverable products. Perform system and subsystem predelivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery. Document repair test and inspection results. Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to aircraft safety and quality while working in a flight line environment around live aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Conducts preshift planning; team status updates/labor loss.
Facilitates training and crew meetings.
Performs production control.
Delivers process improvement and Lean/BPS.
Builds effective resource plans that support statement of work and landmark completion with team and crew coordination.
Identifies and communicates risks to First Line Leader with efficiency.
Monitors and reports daily progress to plan across multiple functions.
Works with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance risk.
Documents and communicates shift turnover.
Establishes overtime requirements plan and staffing.
Responsible for crew level oversight of 5S.
Supports teammates to improve their job performance including identifying training.
Verifies accuracy of work performed and may conduct selfinspection.
Ability and professionalism in support of airline customer interaction.
Identifies KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and LMS Kaizen improvement actions and follows up with actions and tasks associated at weekly Kamishibai and Gemba walks.
Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1 years of experience working on the 787 Program
1 years of experience in a team environment
1 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint)
1 years of experience working with Velocity and 787 production applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or signed FAA Form 86102
1 years of flight line operations experience
1 years of Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
3 years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience
3 years of experience in REDARS PSDS and BAC specifications
