The mission of the Enterprise Segmentation & Merchandising Insights team is to drive growth for Target by creating and delivering solutions that drive relevance. This team builds solutions and delivers recommendations that power strategy and assortment decisions across merchandising.
A role in Enterprise Segmentation means you will be working on prioritized segmentation opportunities that will drive relevance and fuel Targets growth while scaling an operational plan that will enable Merchants to deliver consistent sustainable guest relevant assortments. You will use your skills experience and talents to be a part of a team focused on developing current and longterm growth initiatives for the company.
About the job:
As a Segmentation Strategist on Enterprise Segmentation teamyoullsupport the development and of segmentation strategies. In this role you will become an expert in consumer data and insights and build strategies for the pyramid. Youll be working in close alignment with key partners such as Buying Planning Inventory Space & Presentation Guest Insights and Assortment Planning. You will leverage your experience in strategic and crossfunctional leadership to execute the segmentation assortment strategies.

About you:
Bachelors degree in Business Merchandising or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 years of progressive experience within Segmentation Merchandising Merchandising Strategy Strategy/Consulting Consumer Insights or other relevant business functions
Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to leverage data to influence decisions help identify risks and improvement opportunities and distill complex issues into actionable plans
Pragmatic approach anchored in business priorities
Interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate meetings resolve conflict gain alignment establish rapport and collaborate effectively across departments and externally
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create clarity and confidence and ability to tailor message to all levels of leadership
Ability to adapt prioritize and successfully support multiple tasks or projects in response to ambiguous changing or competing priorities
Ability to work proactively to support multiple projects simultaneously maintain appropriate prioritization and adhere to deadlines
