Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer with a strong background in application development deployment and maintenance within AWS environments. The ideal candidate will also have handson experience managing Atlassian tool infrastructure on AWS along with solid software development and DevOps skills. This role supports enterprisegrade cloud solutions and process automation ensuring scalable reliable and optimized cloud operations.
Responsibilities
Design develop deploy and maintain applications in AWS utilizing services such as EC2 S3 Lambda RDS CloudFormation and API Gateway.
Configure customize and maintain Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Bitbucket) on AWS including setup integration and performance tuning.
Write clean maintainable code using Java Python or adhering to objectoriented design principles and best practices.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines version control systems and automation tools to streamline cloudbased development and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with teams to ensure secure scalable and efficient software development and cloud operations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and deploying applications in AWS.
Proficiency with core AWS services including EC2 S3 Lambda RDS CloudFormation and API Gateway.
At least 2 years experience working with Atlassian tools on AWS including installation configuration and optimization.
Strong software development experience in Java Python or and solid understanding of objectoriented principles.
Handson experience with DevOps methodologies tools and practices including CI/CD and version control.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related technical field.

The candidate shall be available to come onsite to the CJIS facility in Clarksburg WV to pick up equipment and attend inperson meetings as needed. Travel costs will not be reimbursed to support remote telework.
