Expected hours of work per week: 1015
Work Location & Hours: Sanderson 211 typically between 95 some evenings during dress rehearsals and performances
Qualifications for Position:
- Collaborates well with team lead and the costume team to meet production deadlines
- Engage with their work with a positive attitude bent on problemsolving
- Flexibility with their workload and expectations especially in timesensitive situations
- Previous theatre experience is a plus
- Previous experience with hand or machine sewing is a plus
- Hours are typically 1015 hours/week afternoons or evenings usually more hours during tech and dress rehearsals fewer hours at the end of a semester
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in costume construction alterations maintenance and organization for three productions a year
- Work to keep the workroom and storage areas clean and organized
- Duties will vary with the needs of a production may include working backstage assisting with quick changes measuring actors styling hair and applying makeup
Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed
