Marketing Project Manager

The Marketing Project Manager brings their intelligence and perspective to coordinate all marketing projects as well as cross functional projects that involve marketing. Examples include product launches promotional campaigns and video and photography shoots. They ensure all creative deliverables are finalized on time and on budget. Reporting to the VP of Brand the Marketing Project Manager coordinates the entire production process ensuring highquality creative while making the most efficient use of resources talent and budget.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a true passion for team collaboration. They should have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable with maintaining prioritization of multiple ongoing timelines. We are looking for project manager with lighthearted people skills and hardcore work ethic.

Lectric eBikes is the top selling eBike brand in the US. With 5 years in existence you can expect a daily pace of a fun startup with revenue goals of a wellestablished industry leader and for this reason this is a nonnegotiable inperson role.

Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Plan organize and ensure on time inscope implementation of all marketing creative deliverables.

  • Coordinates with Content Director to ensure all photo and video logistics are in place so they can focus on the creative vision. Examples include identifying and coordinating talent obtaining needed permits and developing itineraries.

  • Interfaces with Web Team Art Director and PR teams to ensure projects are correctly planned and prioritized and that all parties have the copy and image assets needed to produce final deliverables.

  • Coordinates outsourcing of copywriting as needed including advertising copy and script writing.

  • Oversees the process of obtaining Product Development Team requirements and approvals for Service Center/Instructional Content ensuring accurate videos are produced in a reasonable turn time.

  • Works with internal marketing leadership such as VP of Digital and Director of Paid Media to ensure timelines and content quality are sufficient to maximize media spend and growth opportunities.

  • Ensures talent equipment and team members are effectively used on the day of photo and video shoots whether by managing the on experience in person or by coordinating other resources to ensure effective use of time and talent.

  • Maintains Asana our project management tool of choice to give visibility to all ongoing marketing creative team projects establishing and assigning tasks as needed.

  • Works with all Marketing team members to ensure computer and camera equipment is working properly. Interfaces with IT as needed to ensure as little downtime as possible when there is an equipment malfunction or need.

  • Owns asset management SOPs and ensures there is adequate space for asset creation and storage.

  • Oversees safety of camera equipment when not in use.

  • Coordinates with outside creative resources as needed for photography voice over or other needs.

  • Provides project management for the full marketing team as needed on cross functional initiatives such as product launches.

  • Supports and facilitates Customer Service team requests from Marketing.

  • Works with the VP of Brand to ensure marketing creative team talent is well utilized.

  • Establishes priority with Senior Marketing leadership and ensures that projects are completed in order of priority.

  • Owns project management of all marketing deliverables for product launches.

  • Works with PR team to plan and coordinate biannual media events typically with 4060 influencers in attendance.

  • Coordinates meetings with teams/individuals as needed to ensure successful product completion.

  • Advises VP of Brand on team workload stress levels and vibes to ensure a positive team environment.

  • Practices constant process improvement and implements shorter milestonebased timelines for a win/fail fast approach as opposed to farout deadlines with little to no flexibility.

  • Other project management duties as assigned by VP of Brand.

Marketing Project Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business preferred with a PMP certification.

  • 5 years of experience with managing content creation video specific experience preferred.

  • Proficient use of the project management software Asana.

  • Proven organizational skills with a keen understanding of priority and labor efficiency.

  • Highly passionate problem solver with amazing people skills.

  • A compassionate individual with high emotional intelligence who is inclusive and collaborative.

  • Experience working with creative team.

  • Requires some late and weekend work for photography and video shoots. This time is typically balanced with an appropriate amount of time off during nonpeak times.

  • Product launch video shoots often require travel. The company launches between 3 and 6 new models per year.

  • Media events happen biannually and may require travel or extra hours. These hours are typically balanced with an equivalent time off in nonpeak work times.

  • Basic copy proofreading and editing skills are necessary.

  • Experience managing photo/video budgets ranging from $500 to $50k.

  • Proven experience making good decisions in challenging situations.

  • Proven ability to adapt to everchanging priorities and timelines with a positive approach is a must.

  • This is a full time inperson role based at the Lectric eBikes headquarters in Phoenix AZ.

Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and filing cabinets. The team member frequently communicates with internal team members investors and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.

Compensation:

  • Base salary negotiable (depending on experience)

  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of experience.
