What to Expect
The Sr. Consumer Credit Strategy & Performance Management Associate supports strategic initiatives and process improvement efforts within the Consumer Credit department. This role conducts detailed data analysis prepares and reports performance metrics to management and assists with system change requests and resource planning to enhance operational efficiency. In addition this role will develop expertise across support functions including project support SCR resource planning analytics and reporting to provide comprehensive operational assistance to the Credit and Funding teams.
What You Will Do
1. Lead/Support Projects and Process Improvements:
Coordinate and support Consumer Credit department projects and process improvement initiatives by performing root cause analyses to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions.
Gather and validate critical data for informed decisionmaking and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project .
2. Reporting:
Design automate and maintain regular reports and dashboards that track performance.
Utilizes tools such as SQL and Tableau to transform complex data into intuitive actionable insights.
Continuously review and optimize reports to ensure accuracy timeliness and alignment with evolving business needs.
3. Data/Process Analysis:
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends identify inefficiencies and pinpoint opportunities for process improvement within consumer credit operations.
Document and map current workflows to detect bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
4. SCR/Resource Planning Support:
Support System Change Request (SCR) initiatives by collaborating with business and IT teams to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements and change requests.
Assist in testing and validating system changes to ensure they meet specified business needs.
Manage the change process by tracking SCR implementations and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders ensuring smooth transitions during system updates.
Support resource planning efforts by providing data insights to assist with forecasting capacity model improvements and reporting.
What You Will Bring
Minimum 46 years related experience in an operations environment
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and leading projects
Experience using data and assumptions to generate forecasts
Experience with SQL a plus
Auto finance or captive finance industry with experience in Consumer Credit or Funding preferred
Bachelors degree
Strong analytical and research abilities with experience in performing root cause analyses and driving process improvements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills capable of conveying technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting standing and walking vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
