Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking aProduct Owner (PO) to lead the Data Acquisition Squad responsible fordeveloping enhancing and managing the full lifecycle ofQualitrols data acquisition and monitoring solutions.
This role requiresdirect collaboration with endusers establishingcustomer panels for continuous validation and ensuring that product development followsAgile best practices while maintaining alignment withindustry compliance and cybersecurity protocols. The PO will work closely withScrum teams engineering and product management to ensure the successful of the roadmap and continuous innovation indata acquisition and industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
- MultiGeneration Product Roadmap & Market Needs
- Develop and maintain amultigeneration product roadmap to ensure data acquisition solutions evolve based oncustomer needs industry advancements and regulatory requirements.
- Regularlygather and analyze enduser feedback to identifyunmet market needs and emerging trends in data acquisition and industrial monitoring.
- Collaborate withproduct management engineering and commercial teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
- Customer Panels & Continuous Requirement Validation
- Establish and managecustomer panels composed ofutility operators field engineers and industry experts to validate features and roadmap.
- Conductregular customer reviews and validation sessions to refine product requirements and prioritize enhancements.
- Leveragedirect engagement with users to ensure solutions align withrealworld operational challenges.
- Backlog Management & Full Product Lifecycle Ownership
- Own and maintain aprioritized welldefined backlog of user stories and technical requirements.
- Ensure the backlog coversthe full product lifecycle frominstallation and commissioning to endoflife planning.
- Definecritical product behaviors to ensurelongterm reliability security and scalability.
- Full Ownership of Product Lines (Cradle to Grave)
- Act as thesingle point of accountability managing solutions frominception to decommissioning.
- Develop strategies forfeature evolution enhancements and endoflife transitions to maximize product value.
- Ensure solutions remaintechnically relevant compliant and aligned with industry advancements.
- Agile & GembaDriven Development
- Work closely with theScrum Master and development teams to ensure smooth of the roadmap.
- PromoteGemba practices by ensuring direct exposure tocustomer environments field operations and realworld data usage.
- Ensuretransparency in delivery progress proactively addressing roadblocks for the development team.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in aProduct Owner Product Manager or similar role in industrial software energy or utility solutions.
- Strong experience indata acquisition substation automation grid monitoring or industrial IoT solutions.
- Proven track record indeveloping and managing multigeneration product roadmaps.
- Experience establishingcustomer panels and drivinguserdriven product enhancements.
- Handson experience inbacklog management covering the full product lifecycle.
- Proficiency inAgile methodologies (Scrum SAFe Kanban) and backlog tools (Jira Azure DevOps).
- Strong technical understanding ofcloudbased platforms APIs system integration and complianceheavy software products.
- Ability to work closely withengineering commercial and customer success teams to drive alignment and .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/MLdriven analytics into industrial software solutions.
- Knowledge ofindustry standards (MISRA C ISO 26262 cybersecurity protocols etc..
- Background in deployingSaaSbased B2B industrial solutions.
