DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will work under the direction of the Highway Bridge Foreman to perform a variety of skilled trades duties such as building concrete forms pouring and finishing concrete and performing stone masonry duties on a specialized bridge maintenance crew. Work involves using traditional hand tools as well as motorized hand equipment including power saws compressors jack hammers tampers and pumps to complete a variety of projects. You will select the proper tools and work methods to complete each task and use them in a way that minimizes wear while maximizing the efficiency and quality of your work. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39785.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building electrical or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges Skills and Abilities.
