With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff case managers clinicians physicians nurses and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

Were expanding and hiring a Sr. Vice President of Business Operations to join our finance team at 41 Montebello Road Pueblo CO.

What Youd Be Doing

Under the supervision of the CFO the Sr. Vice President of Business Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the companys business operations. This executive position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in contract review and management contract negotiation managed care contracts behavioral health regulation and licensing requirements and postaward grant management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare industry particularly in behavioral health and demonstrate a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CFO to align business operations with strategic objectives of the organization including structure risk mitigation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Contract review and management including oversight of the review analysis and management of all company contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and monitor effectiveness of business operations ensuring continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Lead negotiations for new contracts and renewals ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop policy and procedures to mitigate risk and maintain compliance
  • Oversee the management of postaward grants including monitoring compliance reporting and financial management
  • Build and maintain favorable relationships with stakeholders including clients partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead and mentor a team fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages personal growth and development

Physical Demands:

  • Light Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally 10 lbs. frequently or negligible amounts constantly; requires walking standing and sitting to a significant degree.

Qualifications

What Were Looking ForThe MustHaves

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations with a focus on contract management and negotiation.
  • Extensive experience with managed care contracts and a thorough understanding of behavioral health regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Proven track record in postaward grant management.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
