ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- PartTime/Temporary Position This position is a part time/temporary position and DOES NOT include health or medical benefits. Hours for this position will not exceed 938 per calendar year.
- Pay Considerations The starting hourly pay for this position is $23.00.
- Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work 3 days per week 6 hours per day. MondayTuesday 2pm8pm and Wednesday 3pm9pm at our Alexander Library location.
THE ROLE
Under general supervision performs entrylevel library support duties in the areas of library reference and reader services public services and circulation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in library science education English business administration or related field. Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Two 2 years of library experience. Depending upon area assigned experience required in adult or childrens services.
- Equivalency: Four 4 years of library experience in either of the above areas may be substituted for the bachelors degree and the experience listed above.
- Fluent English/Spanish language skills are desired.
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess a Nevada valid state drivers license or have the ability to obtain and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record.
SELECTION PROCESS
