Job Description
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology is looking to add a BC/BE physician to its growing clinically focused practice in Traverse City MI.
The Pediatric Gastroenterologists are a Division of Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital (HDVCH) Physicians members of the Corewell Health Medical Group (CHMG).
Schedule to include call every 7 weeks 1 week at a time) or every 3 months 1 week at a time)
The wellestablished Division currently includes: Physicians supportive advanced practice providers and a collaborative multidisciplinary approach including RNs MAs a dietician and social worker.
The practice provides consultations for children with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders along with support from the Partners within the Grand Rapids practice.
Qualifications:
Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology
Successful completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
Physician (MD)/Osteopathic Physician (DO)
Federal Narcotics License from the State of Michigan
Basic Life Support (BLS) Specific to SHMG 120 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Specific to SHMG: ACLS required if stress test is performed or as required by specialty. 120 Days

Located within a multispecialty clinic including: Endocrinology Nephrology Neurology Orthopedics Plastics Pulmonary & Sleep and Rheumatology

Our childrens hospital in Grand Rapids has a state of the art endoscopy suite supported by one of the nations largest sedation teams in Grand Rapids MI. Professional environment with support for clinical and basic research is available.
