Pay range $3000 $4000

Position Overview:

Friends School of Baltimore is seeking a Program Coordinator/ Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach for the Fall of 2025. This position reports regularly to the Director of Athletics and is a paid parttime seasonal position. The Soccer season begins August 18 and concludes November 1 2025. Practices are typically 2 hours a day MF in the afternoons. Friends School currently competes in the IAAM C Conference. The Program Coordinator is expected to have a role in the soccer program throughout the school year with offseason practices. The IAAM currently permits up to 2 hours a week out of season. The PC is meant to support and guide the girls soccer program at Friends.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and attend all practices and games.
  • Communicate with parents and students effectively.
  • Write postgame summaries to be used by the SID and marketing department in communitywide communications.
  • Train supervise and evaluate student managers.
  • Drive school vehicles (minibuses) to and from away contests scrimmages and tournaments.
  • Attend meetings with the Athletic Department the basketball coaching staff and the Director of Athletics.
  • Serve as the schools representatives at all IAAM Conference soccer preseason and postseason meetings.
  • Organize and maintain all related equipment and uniforms for the program.
  • Oversee the girls soccer program and provide leadership and vision for all teams including Middle School and Junior Varsity programs.
  • Attend and participate in end of season FSAA ceremonies Senior Day celebrations and awards assemblies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Admissions Office and the Office of College Counseling in support of our student athletes.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Varsity coaching experience preferred.
