Job Description
FWS Student AssistantCAREDean of Students Office
- This position is open to students with federal work study and available to work on the main campus in Gainesville.
- Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credit hours a semester.
- Must be able to commit to 1020 hours per week to this position.
CARE Student Assistants deliver support to fellow students in distress. Primary duties include:
- Providing excellent customer service to students faculty and family members
- Scheduling meetings for students and families with CARE staff members
- Collecting and entering pertinent information into student of concern reports or referrals
- Supporting the processing of medical petitions
- Assisting with various special projects and administrative tasks
$13.00/hr.
- Provide documentation of Federal Work Study
- Pay rate is $13.00/hour then $14.00 starting Sept. 30 2025
- Applicants must be available to work between 520 hours/week
- Must maintain minimum GPA of 2.5
- Personable with great verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work independently interact professionally
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Effective writing and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus through Federal Work Study.
