This position exists to provide technical and project leadership to data integration development that support the development and ongoing operation of the Minnesota State Enterprise Integration suite which supports administrative business processes for 34 institutions and approximately 300000 students. This position provides strong technical and analytical skills to project teams and has deep knowledge in the integration technologies used by Minnesota State System Office IT and the associated development process rigor. This position understands architectures for integrations and is responsible for complex integration analysis design and development.
Salary Range:
$36.52 $60.24/hourly $76254 $125781/annual)
Minimum Qualifications
Five 5 years of demonstrable experience doing custom software development in a structured environment using multiple technologies and within a defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint (or their equivalents) sufficient to create and maintain technical documentation for integration support.
Proficiency with email and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams (or their equivalents) sufficient to communicate and collaborate professionally and effectively.
Software design and development skills sufficient to participate in and provide leadership for design and development efforts for integration development projects.
Leadership and mentorship skills sufficient to provide technical project leadership to integration development projects and to mentor the work of other employees involved in the projects.
Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to work successfully with a diverse audience (administrative technical and academic) and remote team members collaboratively as well as the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualification
Bachelors degree in Information Technology and/or relevant Certifications
Experience with Dell Boomi or Workday Studio iPaaS tools
Experience writing and maintaining data integration and transformation processes
Experience leading technical work and of project management principles
Experience working in an Agile development environment
