Cloud Engineer

Planned Systems International Inc is hiring well rounded Cloud Engineers to join our dynamic team responsible for providing a full suite of Cloud and Platform Operations and Engineering services in support a U.S. Air Force Software Factory. Work will be performed up to the TS/SCI level and all candidates must have a minimum of Secret clearance to be eligible for hire. This position is primarily remote with occasional visits to a client site needed.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering related discipline.
• Active T3 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• US Citizenship is required due to client requirements.
• 5 years of experience working in systems and cloud engineering focused roles.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud environments.
• Experience with modern container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of AWS technology offerings and fundamentals.
• Ability to work within Agile development teams to deliver an endtoend automation of deployment monitoring and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
• Ability to work closely with Product Owners Developers and external development teams to build and configure a high performing scalable cloudbased infrastructure.
• Proven aptitude to create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
• Experience building and configuring delivery environments supporting CI/CD using an Agile delivery methodology.
• Proficiency with Nexus and Gitlab.
• Exceptional communication skills and desire to work in a badgeless collaborative team environment consisting of Government clients other Contractors and Stakeholders.

• Active T5 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• Experience working with DoD Platform One is a plus.
• Be local to the San Antonio Texas area and available for hybrid work 2x/week in office).
