Job Description

Position Summary

Concordia University is seeking student applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant in the ESports program. This parttime student employee position will be located on the CUW Mequon WI Campus. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in a related field and be a confirmed enrollee in a Concordia University graduate education program and in good academic standing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operations of the Esports programs.
  • Work with the head coach to enhance community engagement as well as social media platforms and discord server.
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures for the varsity Esports program.
  • Oversee 23 Varsity Titles
  • Assist with the supervision of the eSports Facility.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Esports Head Coach.

  • Demonstrates effective leadership organizational skills and is a selfstarter
  • Exhibits a willingness and ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations
  • Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Able to present a professional manner
  • Candidates should possess strong written and oral communications skills
  • All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadline
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a related field required
  • Enrollment in a Concordia University graduate education program required
  • Student must maintain acceptable academic standing

Directors Program Directors and Chairs; positions identified by HR as management
Campus Pastor Campus Ministry Employees
Employees who have contact with minors
