Offering rate will vary within the listed range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

Questions before applying
Role:
Counsel eligible patients suffering from Substance Use Disorders using both individual counseling and group counseling therapies. Evaluate individuals needs and make the appropriate recommendations and referrals. Collaborate in a professional manner with other providers court and law enforcement officials with the goal of providing the highest quality of care for patients.
To qualify for this position applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: 6 months to 2 years experience in Substance Use Disorder field.
Education: Bachelor Degree in social services human services or related field of study. Current Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) credential issued by KS BSRB or able to obtain LAC within 6 months of employment.
