You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Senior Finance Data Analyst you will empower our Finance and Business teams to make datadriven decisions that are crucial to the companys overall strategy. You will monitor measure and analyze financial metrics and performance providing actionable insights to improve financial operations and business outcomes. Your role will foster a datadriven mindset within the Finance team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. You will work closely with finance leaders product managers other analysts and crossfunctional teams to ensure that finance is a key partner in driving the companys success. As part of the crossfunctional data analytics team you will be working across our four product domains Grow & Engage Everyday Banking Banking Foundations and Financial Empowerment.
Help us set the right goals: Develop clear and measurable financial KPIs ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Be a strategic partner for Senior Leadership: Lead complex highimpact financial analyses on a strategic level delivering insights that influence key financial and business decisions.
Handle stakeholders: Serve as the goto person for financerelated data and insights. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address financerelated queries and drive alignment on financial goals.
Evaluate initiatives: Support financial planning and analysis for strategic initiatives including revenue forecasting budgeting and cost optimization. Provide indepth analysis on financial performance and deliver actionable insights.
Contribute to selfserve data platform: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the right data infrastructure is in place enabling finance teams to access visualize and analyze financial data independently.
Provide monitoring tools: Build and maintain financial dashboards that track key performance indicators ensuring alignment with the companys financial targets and OKRs.
Improve data literacy of organisation: Lead initiatives to improve the organizations understanding of financial data through training sessions and workshops promoting a datadriven finance culture.
Be part of our datacommunity: Collaborate with other analysts and finance professionals across the organization to share insights tools and best practices.
Support some of the following finance & business team initiatives (not limited to):
Partner with business teams to discover new opportunities for costsaving or revenuegenerating initiatives by identifying financial trends and business opportunities.
Evaluate financial impact of ongoing business initiatives and product launches through comprehensive financial modeling and data analysis.
Ensure all financial data is properly tracked and recorded for future reporting and analysis working with engineering and data teams to maintain accurate data collection systems.
Drive the quantitative analysis of financial performance being responsible for delivering deep insights that help drive business strategy and operational improvements.
Background:
4 years of experience in a finance or data analytics role ideally within the FinTech or financial services sector.
Skills:
Strong understanding of financial modeling budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Expertise in SQL and Python/R for financial data analysis.
Experience working with common data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) for financial reporting.
Solid understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics (e.g. profit & loss balance sheet cash flow).
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Experience working in a highgrowth startup or FinTech company managing topics like financial reporting cost optimization or profitability analysis would be a plus
Experience with quantitative financial research and datadriven decisionmaking would be a plus.
Background in financefocused product development or business partnership would be a plus
