Job Description
SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SSEP)
Summer Student Employment Program (SSEP) will be offered this year. The requirements for eligibility in the program are as follows:
Program is designed specifically for high school and college students to give them the opportunity to work in functional areas tied to their college major and interests.
Parttime work may be available prior to end of school year.
The applicant must be 18 years of age with working papers (if applicable)
The online application process must be completed in order to be considered.
A positive performance evaluation must have been received from the prior year if student is a returning program participant.
Interview priority will be given to dependents of an Ithaca BorgWarner Morse Systems employee.
Assignments will be based on Company requirements qualifications and experience. Engineering students will be given opportunities in applicable technical areas where possible.
The minimum pay rate will be at the labor grade 7 hiring rate of $17.82
Safety shoes (ANSI approved) may be required. They are reimbursable at $150 with purchase receipt (one pair only).
The period of employment is students availability approximately May 15th August 31st dependent on students school schedule.
