Summary of Job Duties:

The Safe Ride Driver will drive a 1014 passenger van on campus and city streets to safely transport students to their residence. This position will perform a prescribed preoperational and postoperational safety maintenance check as well as accumulate and record statistics for daily reports on passengers transported using an iPad. The Safe Ride Driver will operate a twoway radio system. Regular reliable and nondisruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.
Safe Ride Office Assistant:
The Safe Ride Office Assistant will use the telephone and a desktop computer Dispatch help navigate the driver of the Safe Ride van to assist students in securing safe ride transportation when needed. This position will record and maintain statistical data for reports on service usage. Other duties as assigned. Regular reliable and nondisruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Age 18 or older
Safe Ride Driver:
Minimum Qualifications:
A valid Arkansas Drivers License in good standing
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Customer service experience
Safe Ride Office Assistant:
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to communicate clearly in written form and verbally
Experience and ability to work in a diverse environment

Salary Information:
Safe Ride Driver: $18.00/per hour
Safe Ride Office Assistant: $17.00/per hour
