Were looking for a fulltime writer to join our Internal Communications Team. In this role youll be responsible for creating clear compelling content that informs and inspires UHaul Team Members across the U.S. and Canada. Youll write everything from feature stories and news briefs to infographics and announcements helping bring our companys culture and people to life.

What Youll Do:

Work under the direction of the Internal Communications manager to complete writing assignments across a range of formats.

Conduct interviews with team members at all levels of the company.

Research factcheck and collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and tone.

Coordinate photo needs with our inhouse creative team.

Edit and proofread content for grammar style and consistency.

Translate complex or technical information into engaging humancentered stories.

Juggle multiple deadlines with grace (and humor).

What You Bring:

A bachelors degree in journalism mass communications creative writing public relations or equivalent professional experience.

One or more years of experience in news business or feature writing (corporate communications experience is a plus).

Impeccable writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

A flexible collaborative attitude and a knack for storytelling.

A sense of humorseriously its a must.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Outlook Teams etc. is required.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphic design software is a plus!
