Job Description
The Faculty of Mathematics at The University of Tulsa invites applications for Instructional Faculty 9month renewable appointment nontenure track) beginning in August of 2025. We seek collegial and studentcentered individuals to teach math and statistics usually lower division courses such as Essentials of Algebra Mathematical Functions Applied Calculus Introduction to Statistics Contemporary Mathematics Calculus I Calculus II and possibly higherlevel courses based on experience. The position has no expectations for research productivity but successful candidates will be encouraged to engage in scholarly activity related to education and pedagogy or research with undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on expertise and departmental needs. The successful candidates may be expected to supervise student workers teaching assistants and contribute to the administrative responsibilities of the department.
