Krech Exteriors a trusted leader in residential and commercial roofing services is seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in Eagan MN. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced roofing estimator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to both estimating and project management to ensure the success of every project.
What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities):
Serve as the roofing and construction estimating expert for both residential and commercial roofing projects in the Eagan MN area
Accurately perform project takeoffs and measure job site specifications to create detailed competitive estimates
Utilize roofing estimating software to generate estimates and pricing for various scopes of work
Build relationships with vendors subcontractors and other key partners to obtain necessary pricing and ensure the accuracy of bids
Draft and send formal proposals to clients in a timely manner
Create project starts (POs) in the companys software once the project is awarded
Ensure smooth transitions by supporting the distribution of project plans to vendors and subcontractors once the job is awarded
Assist with material planning and scheduling to ensure timely deliveries for each project
Work with the project team to schedule crews and ensure jobs are completed on time
- Prospecting builders for future opportunities
Additional Responsibilities:
Write Xactimate estimates and submit them to insurance companies when applicable
Negotiate insurance loss summaries and supplements as needed for roofing projects
Order review and interpret EagleView reports to support estimating accuracy and project planning
What Were Looking For:
3 years of experience in roofing estimating construction or a related field
Proven experience using Xactimate Planswift and roofing estimating software (proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required)
Familiarity with Sage CRM or similar client relationship management tools (preferred)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build relationships and work well with clients vendors and teams
Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team to ensure deadlines are met and goals are exceeded
