Job Responsibilities
Assists the Physical Therapist in the treatment and evaluation ofresidents
Briefs resident on procedures involved in physical therapy and preparenecessary equipment
Assists in transporting residents to and from therapy
Performs physical therapy in the residents room as necessary andencourages residents to perform and/or participate in ADL functions.
Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth personal interest andpositive emphasis as well as a calm environment
Always exercises courtesy whenever residents family members andvisitors are present
Demonstrates pride in Valley View by keeping areas clean and safe
Demonstrates ongoing responsibility and commitment through goodattendance and by being on time to work
Respects the privacy and dignity of residents
Job Qualifications
Must have a current valid PTA license in the State ofKansas.
Must have excellent time management skills and be able towork within deadlines.
Must be able to maintain a courteous friendly and helpfulattitude with residents visitors and coworkers at all times.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
