The Storage Administrator is responsible for managing configuring and maintaining the organizations storage systems to ensure data availability integrity and security. This includes working closely with the IT team to integrate storage solutions with infrastructure monitor system performance and implement effective backup and disaster recovery plans. The role also involves developing documentation conducting security audits and resolving storagerelated issues while collaborating with vendors for hardware support.
*** This position must work on W2 and cannot be done on C2C or 1099. This client does not offer current or future sponsorship.***
This is a remote position with one day onsite per week required.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 3 years in Storage Administration with 5 years in IT
- experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) fabric technologies cloud storage solutions and storage management tools and software.
- Enterprise Storage Certification or DOD IAT required
- Active Secret Security Clearance required
