Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role you will be a key player in the planning and of various events ranging from corporate gatherings to community festivals. As an Entry Level Event Specialist you will have a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the events industry while working alongside seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating events from conception to ensuring all aspects are addressed.
- Work with vendors suppliers and venues to secure necessary services and materials for events.
- Help in developing event budgets and tracking expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media email campaigns and other channels.
- Assist with onsite event management including setup registration and attendee support.
- Gather feedback from participants postevent to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- A creative mindset with a passion for developing engaging event concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
