Seeking an experienced technician interested in a career in repairing readymix concrete trucks this is day shift Monday through Friday position with available overtime. The position provides an excellent wage and benefits package with an opportunity for advancement. A valid drivers license from your state of residence with appropriate endorsements and a clean driving record is required.
Preemployment background checks and drug tests are required. Must be able to do moderately strenuous work including but not limited to the ability to lift over 75 pounds and endure long periods of standing/walking as well as continuous strenuous activities such as frequent reaching bending or lifting. You must be able to work in severe weather conditions both heat and cold be able to stand / sit for extended periods regularly required to sit stand bend reach and move as part of normal work activities. You may be exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors fumes and oils.
The purpose of this position is to perform routine preventative diagnostic and repair maintenance on all Company equipment in a timely and costeffective manner. The technician may be called upon to work extensive overtime as weather and business conditions warrant. You will perform a complete range and variety of major minor and routine repairs on heavy equipment or heavy vehicles. You will require the ability to repeat the same or similar tasks multiple times in a day. Familiarity and strict adherence to all company policies that impact job including but not limited to: lockout/tagout confined space and hazard communication.

- Must be able to perform tire changes and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards required for the role
- Must be able to work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following Company safety guidelines and following company policies.
Requirements:
- Daily inspection of the lot to verify equipment condition and identify potential outofservice items.
- Interacting with fleet manager drivers batch men and operation and production personnel.
- General knowledge of engine scanning systems
- Experience on International Kenworth Mack Sterling Western Star trucks is desirable
- Experience with end dump and pneumatic trailers is desirable
- Experience with DPF systems electrical systems air systems fuel systems & brake systems required

- Order parts as needed and maintain inventory control.
- Welding & fabrication skills and experience required
- Perform repairs as needed on fleet equipment in yard as well as on the road.
- Maintain repair orders including labor hours parts used and general comments.
- May require travel to potentially any of our plant locations based on needs.
- Will perform other duties as assigned by management personnel.
A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting repairing and maintaining multiple types of dieselpowered equipment.
- Duties include adjusting equipment repair or replace defective parts diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testing equipment and cleaning or performing maintenance work.
- Cleaning lubricating and performing other maintenance work
- Performance of an individual daily fleet of location units correcting fluids and checking functions as required.
- Perform quality preventative maintenance as per the detailed schedule on a consistent basis
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections as specified using mechanic tools and shop equipment which may include hydraulic electric hand and air tools
- Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
- Diagnosing malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues
- Repair malfunctioning components retrofit engines change brakes adjust steering systems replace wornout parts and change hydraulic fluids.
- Use computerized equipment along with cutting torches pneumatic wrenches hydraulic jacks screwdrivers pliers mallets and precision gauges.
- Test drive trucks before and after repairs as needed.
