Position Summary

Why Its a Great Opportunity: In this position with the Finance Department you will actively oversee and lead the Countys Records Management Program ensuring Pierce County departments are in compliance with Federal State and Local records management requirements. You will provide guidance and support across the County to department records staff regarding retention organization digitization and disposition. Additionally you may provide training to County staff. This area of work allows for a fair level of autonomy and requires selfmotivation to drive results. The Records Center is Pierce Countys inhouse records storage facility providing information to all.

How to be Successful in the Role:Your success will come from exceptional communication skills customer service skills ability to objectively analyze situations communicating next steps and by providing answers from research. Process improvement in the form of determining gaps efficiencies and available technologies will further ensure your success.

Your Future in this Role:You will be serving as the Public Records Officer for the Finance Departments public records requests.
