Position Description:
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions for CGI and our clients. You will be responsible for assessing security requirements developing architectures and overseeing the implementation of security solutions to protect sensitive information and infrastructure from cyber threats. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives security requirements and compliance needs.
Design endtoend cybersecurity solutions tailored to meet clients specific needs considering factors such as infrastructure applications data and user access.
Develop detailed architecture diagrams technical specifications and implementation plans for cybersecurity solutions.
Evaluate existing security systems and processes identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Stay uptodate with the latest cybersecurity threats trends and technologies and incorporate them into solution designs.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams during solution implementation and deployment.
Conduct risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT engineering and operations to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the business.
Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity providing thought leadership and contributing to the development of best practices and standards.
Participate in presales activities including solution presentations proposal development and technical demonstrations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven experience 10 years) working as a cybersecurity solution architect or a similar role in a complex IT environment.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles technologies and best practices including network security identity and access management encryption and vulnerability management.
Handson experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems SIEM endpoint protection and encryption solutions.
Experience with cloud security principles and technologies (AWS Azure GCP).
Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM CISA or equivalent are highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients stakeholders and team members.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Proven track record of successfully delivering cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
