Job Summary:
Moberly Motors is seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Ideal candidates will have experience in general automotive repair strong diagnostic abilities and a desire to grow in a dealership environment. Ford or Chrysler certification is preferred but not required. This is a fulltime position offering competitive pay benefits and career advancement opportunities in a clean modern shop setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general automotive repairs including brakes engine diagnostics suspension electrical systems and more
Conduct routine maintenance services: oil changes fluid checks tire rotations battery replacement
Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and software
Ensure all repairs and services are completed to manufacturer standards
Work closely with service advisors to communicate vehicle issues and repair plans
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
Participate in ongoing manufacturer and dealership training programs
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic (preferred)
Ford or Chrysler certification (preferred but not required)
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and scan equipment
Strong mechanical and problemsolving skills
Must own basic automotive tools
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or ASE certifications a plus
