You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Supervisor of Operations manages the daytoday operations of assigned employees in the manufacturing and engineering areas to ensure production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Allocating resources as necessary in an agile production environment to meet current demand acting as the liaison between managerial objectives and onthefloor labor management and supporting managerial visibility through daily production reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the allocation of employees to appropriate departments in response to current needs based on customer demand
Ensure that daily operations in the manufacturing facility are aligned with corporate objectives while adhering to company policies and procedures
Organizing monitoring and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
Manage workforce to ensure objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements.
Update training matrices for the production team
Communicate subfunction capabilities to senior management to instruct the development of shortterm and longrange objectives.
Ensure functional strategies and specific objectives for the subfunction are met efficiently and on time.
Regularly report on relevant KPIs to senior leadership.
Oversee the management of enterprise resource planning system for site operations and ensure continuous process improvement of planning systems.
Proactively develop and implement process improvements that will positively impact the Manufacturing Department.
Participate in interviews employment and termination of employees; perform and instruct employees in conducting performance appraisals and recommend raises.
Participate in the Factory Safety Committee and actively ensure all safety policies procedures and goals are met in Operations.
Ability to coordinate employees on multiple shifts
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience. If no degree 26 years of experience is required.
Relevant experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Medical Device Industry in a supervisory capacity
Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt training.
Technical knowledge in Plastics Injection Molding Process and/or Tooling Engineering
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Specific knowledge of Quality Systems Regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to absorb operational information and translate into actionable tasks for team.

Disclosure as required by applicable law the annual salary range for this position is $64074 to $99788. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location work experience education and skill level. The salary range is CONMEDs good faith belief at the time of this posting.
