Job Description

What you will do:

Under general direction the Fire Solutions warranty program manager will lead remediation and product quality or product replacement projects. The program manager will work with multiple functions including quality / warranty sales finance legal customer service and support engineering product management and marketing / communications. The program manager will be responsible for developing project plans and executing against those plans including meeting timelines staying within program budgets holding resources accountable to tasks and communicating program status to stakeholders.

How you will do it:

  • Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation

  • Plans and schedules project deliverables goals and milestones

  • Define sponsor and deploy process improvements to improve program/project and overall quality/customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinates monthly executive project reviews and interfaces with all levels of management on all aspects of planning scheduling organizing directing and controlling of their respective projects.

  • Works closely with Technical Services Product Management and Engineering organizations to developproduct strategies and remediation strategies (as needed).

  • Establishes and maintains an effective system of communication with all program stakeholders

  • Lead project teams & facilitate team meetings & agenda; ensure common understanding of deliverables and open issues for each project phase.

  • Execute program management and project management task consistent with Johnson Controls global standards

  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor degree (MBA preferred) and 10 yearsprogram management experience in a product manufacturing industry

  • Experience in construction management working with general contractors / mechanical contractors and managing detailed budgets. Familiarity with procurement / purchasing processes scheduling installation / services and managing scorecards desired.

  • 5 years supervisory experience overseeing large scale projects and project managers

  • Project Management Accreditation (APMP PMI Prince 2 or equivalent) preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects of team/SME developed internal/external relationship established crossteam leading large complex crossfunctional programs.

  • Advanced program management skills in complex business environments including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.

  • Deep project management experience managing largescale implementations. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership negotiation and teambuilding skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.

  • Professional communication skills required at all be able to interact and impact senior command of verbal and written communication (English).Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.

  • Strong problem solving decision making issue analysis and resolution organized.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with internal clients. Ability to work well in a fast paced multicultural global work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.

  • Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
