Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Mission to join the leadership team at Emmaus College Rockhampton.
In this leadership position you will exhibit a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education participate in the faith life of the parish as well as have appropriate teaching experience academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
TheAssistant Principal: Missionfocuses on providing leadership in religious education including the religious life of the school according to Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton policies and procedures.
We are seeking a faith inspired professional educator with vision energy and a demonstrated commitment to the welfare of students.
This is a fulltime position commencing from Term 3 2025.

- Leading Teaching and Learning:Ability to develop and implement high quality learning and teaching programs.

- Leading improvement innovation and change:Aligning strategic goals and initiatives with the vision and mission of the school and School Review and Improvement Processes.
- Engaging and working with the community:Ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with school staff students parents clergy parishioners and the wider community.

We are seeking to appoint a leader who
- is a practising Catholic with a sound understanding of and commitment to Catholic education
- can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and lead the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives
- has the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within the school and with the local community
- is willing to provide leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the APM duty statement and
- can lead in ways that are consistent with the message of Jesus and the Gospels
- Catholic church teachings principles and values
- Diocesan policies and directives
- The Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton Charter
- Catholic Education Mission and Vision Statements policies practices and strategic directions.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
