*POSITION: Adjunct Instructor of Sociology
*POSITION AVAILABLE: April 30th 2025
*JOB SUMMARY:
Galveston College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Faculty Member in
Sociology to provide highquality inperson instruction to students. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in sociology and a passion for teaching. This position involves
delivering engaging coursework fostering critical thinking and supporting student learning in a
classroom setting.
*QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and inclusive learning.
